Trey Calloway, one of country music’s hottest new singer/songwriters, hails from small town Cornelius, North Carolina.  The son of a preacher man, Trey grew up nurturing his early love for music with gospel tunes in church choirs.  Never one to shy away from the mic, he was a seasoned performer by the age of ten.  Though Southern and Contemporary Gospel were his first musical fascinations, Trey was instantly mesmerized by the sounds of country music after hearing a “Garth Brooks Greatest Hits” album his mother and father had bought for him.  Inspired by the passion and honesty of country music’s legends, Trey began writing his own songs, playing guitar, and performing in bars and clubs at age fifteen.  He knew without a shadow of a doubt that this musical journey would become his career.  Over the years, he’s won numerous awards and fronted multiple bands in and around his home town.  Expanding his brand, he left home in 2016, beach-bound for North Myrtle in South Carolina to form his own band and play the lively music scene in that area.  Trey recently recorded and released his debut Nashville album entitled “Carolina Man,” on which a few of his musical heroes, including Brent Mason, Lonnie Wilson and Buddy Hyatt, performed.  Trey penned the twelve songs on the album and teamed up with musician and producer Mike Rogers to bring the lyrics and riffs to life.  Trey’s manager, Sugar Creek front man Tim Clark, has helped boost Trey to the next level by teaching him the ins and outs of being a professional musician.  Trey’s show is truly a must-see; he and his four band mates lay their souls on the stage every time they perform.  They can’t wait to see you in your hometown!
